About
Hey there, I’m Chris. This blog is all about our travels and the destinations sportclimbing brings us to. Sportclimbing gives you opportunities to explore the world, experience beautiful mountains, and most importantly, appreciate it’s fauna and flora. It’s so important to live our dreams sustainably. Travelling is exciting to discover the country’s cuisine, culture, or it’s people while we are there. So as the blog with almost 20 years of content grows older just like we do (OMG !), it’s content is still focused on inspiring climbing regions or mountains, rest days are saved for discovering the region, food or chilling at the beach. It’s never really only about the grade. It has to be fun and enjoyable.
We’ve been sports climbing for more than 30 years with every opportunity that we can find. We feel very home based in Europe and dare to say that we have seen most major climbing sites while enjoying our extensive road trips. Globally, we’ve flown as far as South East Asia to climb. We car camp as much as possible to stay flexible in our choice of region and are sun chasers in the colder months. It is the simplest form of travelling. Every now and then we pamper ourselves in quaint accommodations too.
In colder months, I winter-hike and cross country ski skate passionately in the Bavarian Alps or the Fichtel mountains. There’s a seperate site for this wonderful winter sport here in german. I love discovering new winter landscapes, and new muscles I have never known to exist. Being outdoors stands as my number one priority.
Our motto says
“Live simply,
Live your passion today with no regrets,
Survive and leave no trace”

Cooperations
We welcome brand manufacterers, agencies and tourist boards with interesting cooperations and experiences that are focussed on outdoor activities (i.e.climbing, via-ferratas, hiking, camping) or gears.
Contributions and reviews will mirror my own relevant experiences and honest opinion. Product reviews will be declared at the beginning or end of the test report. Please don’t contact us if you are looking for a backlink or a guest post opportunity.
Do you have a specific brand or product that you want to promote? Or a camper, a beautiful accommodation, or destination you think we should check out?
Feel free to write me at mail (at) klimbingkorns.de. If necessary, I will be happy to send you a current Media Kit.
